– Switch off lights that aren’t in use

-Use power strips or unplug appliances that aren’t in use

-Use a reusable water bottle to carry drinks with you instead of buy drinks in disposable packaging

-Carpool, use public transit or ride a bike when possible

-Use biodegradable soaps/cleaners

-Wash your cars at commercial car washes that recycle water, instead of washing at home

-Wash your clothes in cold water instead of hot

-Eat less beef in favor of poultry, fish and legumes

-Use reusable bags at the store instead of paper or plastic

-Shop at local farmer’s markets when possible (with your reusable bags)
